This assures increased performance and resiliency and eliminates dependencies between different geographic locations that previously relied on a single Vault. Moreover, this new architecture enables customers to work directly with their local Vault, which is automatically synced with the Primary Vault. Once connectivity is resumed, all audits and session related information will be synchronized back to the Primary Vault. This means that critical functions, such as password retrieval and session management, will be available in the event of an outage, eliminating data loss. If you have a geographically distributed Vaults configuration, you can now configure your PAS solution to work in active/active topologies.
In this version, we extended the PAS solution to support active/active architectures with multiple Enterprise Password Vaults. As a tier 0 application, CyberArk PAS critical services should always be available, even in cases of software, hardware and network outages.
